The Minister for Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is sure the heap shedding exercise in networks that get power from the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point will end today as planned.

A week ago, the Electricity Company of Ghana carried out an eight-day blackout plan for certain pieces of the public money to empower it to attempt to support chips away at some GRIDCO offices.

Talking at press instructions, the Minister was uncertain whether there would be an expansion of the blackout plan or not.

“There has been a dumsor plan for those in Accra who are served by the Pokuase substation, and ECG distributed a schedule for that and it closes today. I can’t remain here and offer you a yes or no response, however, we are certain that for whatever they expected to do and out of the blue they accompanied the schedule, it closes today.”

The force interferences began on Monday, May 10, 2021.

The Electricity Company of Ghana had clarified that the plan had gotten essential because of the continuous deals with the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point, henceforth the need to close down the transmission line, which was relied upon to influence the Mallam Bulk Supply Point that provisions capacity to numerous families.

A portion of the spaces that were influenced by the blackouts incorporates Awoshie, Nsakina, Dansoman, Ashalaja, Tuba, Abossey Okai, Dansoman, Tuba, Pokuase ACP Estates, Amasaman, Taifa, Ofankor, Kokrobite, Fadama, Israel, and Abeka market.
